We were here with a party of 8 and were seated in a small, separate room. Our waiter, I believe his name was Valentino, was very knowledgeable about the large menu and very attentive. My wife is allergic to garlic and is lactose intolerant, which make eating in an Italian restaurant difficult, to say the least. Olive Garden has told us they had NOTHING on their menu without garlic except plain tomato sauce. He explained which items could work for her and which could be prepared special to meet her needs. After ordering, he came back and told her the dressing she had ordered for her salad had garlic and asked which one she'd like instead. She ended up with a delicious pasta with small and large shrimp and scallops in a wine sauce. It was delicious. Another member of our group has many food allergies, including black pepper and gluten. He suggested a seafood dish in which they substituted rice for the pasta. It was also very good. I had the daily special, which was morel mushrooms, asparagus, and chicken with a combination red and white sauce. It was good, although the sauce was a little heavy for my taste. The others were very happy with their dishes. Our dinners included huge rolls which were deliciously crusty. Their prices are very reasonable, especially considering the size of the servings. It was the first time my wife and I have eaten at an Italian restaurant in years and we will definitely consider them the next time we are in Rochester.
