“Great Staff and Service”

My mother and I visited the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and stayed as guest at the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff and service was great we were there for a week and truly enjoyed our stay. This was our first visit to MN and to seek treatment at the Mayo Clinic which was a challenge in itself but the stay at the HGI was well worth it. The HGI would definitely be the hotel for your stay while visiting or seeking treatment at the Mayo Clinic. The HGI and Mayo Clinic are AWESOME........Thank you

My husband had surgery at St.Mary's hospital(Mayo Clinic) and we needed a 2 room suite so he could walk around in the room after back surgery. We stayed at the Marriott Mayo clinic hotel the 2 weeks before the surgery, which for the price it was NO BIG DEAL. You get so much more at the Garden Inn, Free internet, small kitchen area with refrigerator and microwave and 2 bathrooms, for half the price the Marriott charges $600.00 for a 2 room suite, $420 for a large suite and you have to pay extra for internet, you don't get a frige or microwave. Only difference you don't have on demand movies, but the service is great and they have a town car that picked up my husband from the hospital after his surgery. It was a little futher from the Mayo clinic but still connected to the walkway and closer to the mall and restaurants in the mall. Great place to stay.

While in Rochester for 4 nights my wife and I had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. Jenny in housekeeping was wonderful to us. It is a quick 5 minute walk to the Mayo and Gonda buildings via walkways and subways. The fridge and microwave we had in our room came in handy for breakfast. The hotel is all within half a block of some great restaurants and bars we visited including The Tap Room, Newt's, Dooley's, Pescara and Sontes Tapas. I left a couple of articles of clothing there that they are sending back to me at no charge. I called Mr Lund, the general manager of the hotel asking if I could pay this expense but he informed me it is Hilton's policy to do so if the expense is minimal. We will be back for a follow up in 2 years and will be staying here again.

Extremely nice service, staff was very willing to make my stay a great experience. They are willing to bring you to/from e.g. nearby shopping centre by limo if for whatever reason you can't make it on your own.
The location is perfect too, downtown Rochester, w/ all facilities at walking distance.

Room Tip: I can imagine having a room at skyway-level might be a bit more noisy, as many people use this entry...

We stayed at this hotel during my wife's stay at the Mayo. The desk staff was very nice and helpful. The housekeeper on our floor was very proud that we were staying on her floor. She did an outstanding job and every morning she made it a point to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Room Tip: Rooms was very quiet. We over looked the street and I have to say I did not experience any road noi...

The front desk service from Robert was excellent! He was very helpful and professional! It's employee's like him that make customer's want to come back. We enjoyed our stay. We at the restaurant in lobby. The service was excellent! We like that we were able to get free shuttle to the mayo clinic and St. Mary's Hospital. Our other family members enjoyed there stay as well. Everything about our stay was very nice.

This is a very nice hotel in downtown Rochester close to the Mayo Clinic. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast is a separate cost but it is good and plentiful as it is buffet style. There is a nice fitness center to utilize but the bike trail is very accessible and is great for runners. The room was very quiet and all utilities worked well. My only issue is parking, which costs an extra amount. The lot is very small and if you come back late in the evening, it is likely full. That means parking in one of the ramps, which is a fair walk. Overall, though, it was a good location to other restaurants in the area, as well as easy access to the Mayo Clinic.

There is no additional costs involved with valet, except the standard parking charge. They will park your car in the ramp for you and also retreive it for you when needed.
