“Food, service and atmosphere remain worth the visit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

We continue to return to 300 First because the food is very good, the staff is superb and the setting is enjoyable. My only "gripe" is that they offer a wine list that doesn't match their food menu. This is a handicap, especially in a community with so many wine drinkers.

“A hometown favorite!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

We planned to just have a drink on the way home for work, but the food from the grill tempted us to have dinner. The house salad has a wonderful dressing, fresh baked bread and butternut squash ravioli (which is just an appetizer). It was delicious and plenty of food to satisfy a healthy appetite.

“Nice ambiance and great martinis”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

One of things I like best about 300 First is the ambiance. I like the dark wood, overstuffed furniture in the lounge area with a water feature and fireplace. The martinis are excellent, and that is the other main reason I go there! The food is good, though not excellent. I'd like to see a bit more excitement in their menu, and step up their game a bit with the food. It is good - but not the best culinary experience in Rochester, though a solid all around choice.

“Amazing experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013 via mobile

Celebrated a birthday with friends. Able to make a reservation which is not common in Rochester. Wonderful food selection. Portions are perfect no need for a take home box. I had filet mignon cooked perfect and tasted great. My daughter had prime rib best ever. Many had the brick chicken which they said was mouth watering. A bit more expensive but very worth it. Can't wait to go back!

“My favorite!”

This is my favorite restaurant. The spicy prawns are to die for and you cannot get the unique taste anywhere else!
