“Great sushi & great service at reasonable prices.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012 via mobile

My title say it all. I had two types of Nigiri - eel and scallop & they were both very well prepared and very tasty. The eel was full of flavor & the scallop was very clean and spiced up with some spicy mayo. Highly recommend giving them a try.

“surprising authenticity in the middle of midwest shopping center”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2011

The hardest part is realizing that yes, there is actaully a very good and authentic Japanese restaurant in the middle of a little strip mall outside of rochester in the shadow of target and all those other big chain stores. The decor is very nice, subdued but with just the right amount of light, the service very good - they really give the impression they care about your experience. Was neat to see a range of diner from families with kids to ladies out lunching to couples feeding each other sushi with chopsticks.
Some unusual dishes along with standards. I like the sashimi and rice bowl. the only bummer is they close for like 3 hours in the middle of the afternoon. No Clue why, but if you are hungry in the mid afternoon, you're out of luck.

“Poor excuse for a Japanese retsuarant”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2010

I tried to order the teriyaki steak but for some unkmown reason they said that they couldn't make it med rare!! Something to do with, "it wouldn't come out med rare", didn't really understand why. My wife's napkin smelled of gasoline/kerosene and was quite strong. Kimchi was old. Poor excuse for a Japanese restuarant. Sushi was not well made or tasty, had the tuna, not good.
never again
Is this restuarant good for... nothing
