We visited the new Pizza Luce in Richfield for lunch. The service was awful. We waited 10 minutes in a not overly crowded location to see our waiter and he did not return for another 15 minutes with our drinks. He then wanted our order right away, which we were willing to accomadate given at this pace it may be time for dinner before we get our pizza. We ordered a medium Pizza Luce. It took 45 minutes to get the pizza. When it arrived it was warm, not hot, warm. While it said it was suppose to be Italian sausage with onions, it was an onion pizza. There were a total of 8 pieces of sausage. Yes, you could count them becasue they stood out on the pizza as an oddity. The location appears to have no adult supervision. When we spoke to the front counter to ask for assistance we were met by a young lady that could not have been out of her teems. She could not believe we had a bad experience and spoke to us with a smerk on her face. She was getting her minimum wage and really did not care about anything as long as she could leave her shift on time. If you are going to run a pizza joint like it is a college handout, that is fine, but do not over charge for medicore pizza and claim to be the best pizza in the city. Because if this is the best pizza in the city then Minnesota's taste for pizza has reached a seriously low bar. Or is it just possible that the magazines that rate pizza places have gotten lazy and just give rankings based on bygone days.
