“Good activities bad sleeping arrangement”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013 via mobile

This was our second time to TI. We had our kids with so we didn't gamble. The bowling alley was great and we spent most of our night there and the pool and hot tubs were nice and not too crowded. The things I didn't like was that you HAD to walk through the smokey casino to get to the restaurant. .not so great with kids. Also the bed wasn't very comfortable and I think they could get some nicer pillows and sheets!

“Worst casino in MN”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

I hate this casino. There is always a profound cloud of smoke when you walk in the door, and this casino has the worst odds in the world! I never see anyone winning, let alone see anyone smiling! The service here is terrible! No one comes around with drinks and when you sit at a slot machine its always dirty around it...full ashtrays, old drinks, etc. The snack bar here is a joke...the prices are so high, the food is terrible, and the cashiers and help here always seem to amaze me with their bad attitudes. The best part is when you are eating they are SCREAMING numbers so people will pick up their orders at the counter. They also have a recording that plays a couple times an hour saying "One lucky guest just one over 1200.00 and you could be next!" This place is ridiculous...don't go!

“Smelled like cigarette smoke”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

We have stayed here several times but will not again. Each time we think they will find a way to clean the air of smoke and each time it gets worse.

“Treasure Island is a total experience”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

You will experience more angry and bitter people (because they are all loosing) in a two hour span that you will encounter in two years outside the casino doors.

You will experience little old ladies cussing and hitting slot machines because they just lost the last of their Social Security check.

You will experience countless people talking to their slot machines and waving their hands over the glass believing that they can in someway manipulate the machine that has been precisely to take all their money produce a winning spin.

You will experience slot machines that can be played for an hour or more without triggering a bonus round or any winnings while you wonder what kind of technology can produce such odds?

You will experience crowds of Hmong people on the "all you can eat crab legs night" and then top the evening off by smelling the aroma of a fish market while they yell at slot machines in their native language while beating on the spin buttons (if that doesn't work some will actually spit on the machines).

If you are really lucky then you can experience the wanna be gangsta rappers from all ethnic groups that come on Friday and Saturday nights so they can get drunk and practice using the F word while trying to impress their brainless girlfriends.

All of this plus smoke and mirrors.........what an experience!!

“Nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

We use this place as a get away for a day. They have alot of machines to play and good food at the buffet. We usually go up on a sunday for the brunch and then gamble alittle. My mom and daughter have stayed there at the hotel and had no complaints
