We stopped in at The Brickhouse after stopping at the Underground and finding out they were only serving pizzas. Upon walking in, we were told by a waitress to seat ourselves. The restaurant itself is very warm & inviting, very well decorated. The paintings give you a lot to look at and are great conversation starters. When the waitress arrived, we asked her what they were "known" for. She said pizza & burgers. After looking over the vast menu selection, we finally decided on the pulled pork sandwich and the XXL Burger. We were wary of the burger, simply because it is served with so much cheese, bacon, & eggs that you would think you'd have a heart attack at the table, but the most curious was the peanut butter they put on the burger. As imagined, the peanut butter is not a great addition to a burger. The egg was slightly overcooked, the bacon as well however it was very flavorful regardless. The meat itself had a great flavor and was thick and juicy. I would rate the burger at a 3/5, there were good and bad, though I still wouldn't ever order it again. The highlight of the plate were the french fries! They were crisp, golden, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I just wish there were more! It's a pretty small serving. The pulled pork by stark contrast of the burger, was simply out of this world. The flavor was phenomenal, rich, dense, and a full flavor profile, the coleslaw served on top was fantastic, and the bun was a great choice. I have had many pulled pork sandwiches at many restaurants, and this one, hands down takes the prize. It seriously is amazing. Drinks were kept full, waitress was pleasant, she had us double check our bill before we paid. Overall, a really great experience that we are very happy with. We will definitely recommend to our friends, and be back when we are in the Red WIng area again, which will hopefully be soon! I am already craving another pulled pork!
