The Pratt-Taber Inn is a Bed and Breakfast meticulously restored with quiet elegance, good taste, and practical comfort. Owner/Innkeeper, Debbie, is the consummate host~the angel is also in the details~ brownies baking on our arrival, gracious in a down-home kind of way. Our room was lovely but not fussy....large enough for several seating areas, inviting us to stay in and soak up the peace. We were invited down for wine and appetizer before heading out to dinner and returned to a wee basket of chocolates, and the gas fireplace glowing. The bed and bedding were heaven as were the soft, melodious measure of time passing from nearby church chimes.
Coffee brought up 1/2 hour before breakfast (which was a beautiful and delicious feast). We did not want to leave.
