We stayed here the night before we had to celebrate a life. The pool was great for our 2 yr old, and the best boneless buffalo wings i have ever had! but to top it off we notice as we were leaving town that we had left a very special childrens blanket behind the night before. we called and left a message with the cleaning crew to call us in the morning if they had found it. i decided to call back and Matthew Hoshal answered the phone. I told him what happend and that we live in iowa and are able to stop in to get it if they could find it! He said they normally dont do that but since we were still in town he would run down and check! I prayed for honest people and as we drove into the parking lot he called back saying he had found it! he refused to take a tip. I dont care what the hotel looks like i will go there time and time again knowing there are honest people that work there! Thank you sooooo much Matthew!

Room Tip: ask for one conected to the pool if you have little ones!

We booked this hotel because of the kid-friendly indoor pool for our family vacation. The pool area was worn down and dirty. The door frames and door bottoms inside the pool area were rusty, even the fire sprinklers were rusty. The pool play equipment was old, chipped and in need of painting. The handicap ramp to the spa is a slip and fall hazard as soon as it gets wet and the spa was dirty. From the time we checked in to when we checked out, none of the hotel staff were friendly or helpful. I booked a crib for our room when I made the reservation, when we arrived and asked for the crib at the front desk we were told "We'll send one up if we have any left". We finally got one from housekeeping. Our room was clean however the tub hardly drained & the light fixtures were dented, broken or not working. I told housekeeping about the tub but nothing was done. The ice machine on our floor was leaking into the hallway making the carpet saturated in this area and the carpet buckled up all along this section of the hall, again, a trip and fall hazard. We frequently stay in Best Westerns when traveling and this is not the sort of service or poor condition of property that we're used to from this brand.
The highlight of the trip was dinner at the hotel restaurant, friendly fast service and the food was wonderful.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to Trip Advisor regarding your recent stay at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn in Plymouth MN. We do apologize for not exceeding your expectations. We are happy that you found our restaurant and lounge to be wonderful. We do paint our pool equipment and doors yearly and this project is slated for the end of September after a busy summer of guest enjoyment of our pool area. We also plan to resurface the entire pool deck this winter to improve the overall look of the area as well as improve the anti slip function of the deck. Our maintenance staff has repaired the ice machine in question and we apologize for not repairing the rippled carpet caused by the leak immediately. We also pride ourselves in a friendly and helpful staff and do receive numerous positive comments on our service.

Sincerley,

John Nygaard

At the BW Kelly Inn, the staff is absolutely outstanding. They were accomodating to my needs any time I called on them. The pool is nice, with rooms right off the pool. The breakfast is prettu good but is basically the same thing everyday. The restaurant/bar in the hotel has awesome drink specials for late happy hour and the food is outstanding. The beds are comfortable and rooms are updated, bathrooms are fair. Nice flat screen TVs very clean rooms, and the housekeeping staff is very friendly. I travel a lot for work and I will deffinately bw coming back here next time I am in the area.

I stayed at this hotel this past Saturday night. I thougth for the price that the room was ($89.00 w/ a senior discount b/c my mom was paying for the room), I thought it was a really good deal. Granted, the room was not real 'spacious,' but we had 2 adults and 2 double beds and with 1 adult and 1 child in each bed it was tolerable! Not to mention, the pool area was great for my kids. They loved going down the waterslide and there was a hot tub to warm up in afterwards. The next morning we got cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, as well as scrambled eggs, sausage, a waffle machine, coffee and juice. On top of all that, they allowed me to have my dogs, which saved me money b/c of not having to board them. I mean... come on! For $89/ night, you can't beat that. I would definitely go back.

We had 7 rooms booked for our team and families in the northern suburbs. The hotel staff was great with accommodating us for an earlier check in. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The grandkids had an awesome time in the pool! The complimentary breakfast buffet was great also. Highly recommend The Kelly Inn in Plymouth.
