“Very friendly and welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Stayed recently for a couple of nights whilst visiting Oxford. The facilities were good, room was clean and good en-suite with hot shower. Bed comfortable and some tea/coffee facilities in the room. The outstanding item for us was the service. The host family were really welcoming, very knowledgeable about the local area and facilities, and served a fantastic series of breakfast options. Overall, a lovely break, very relaxing and a real joy to be among such lovely people. Will definitely stay again if we're in the area. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Gold room for a weekend in March. Lovely room and fabulous, carefully produced breakfast including homemade yogurt and local butcher's produce. Great location - perfect for the 5 minute drive to Oxford park and ride (we went on Saturday), pub within walking distance serving good food (we went on Friday night after arriving), 10 minutes to Blenheim Palace (we went on Sunday). Lovely hosts Lauren and Khalid, and their charming little girl Jasmine! Thoroughly recommended!

Room Tip: Gold Room has ensuite bathroom.

I stayed for a week whilst attending a course at the aviation school at Oxford airport. It was extremely convenient as it was only 5 minutes away. The place is very well decorated and kept in a fantastic state. I stayed in the Silver bedroom and it was a great stay. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, was almost like visiting family. The facilities provided were excellent and it was all you needed. I had a good, comfortable, quiet nights sleep every night. Overall I was very pleased with my stay and I would definitely return there if ever in the area again!

This small B&B is conviniently located midway from Oxford and Kidlington, in a little village called Begbroke. They only have two rooms, but incredible well furnished and decorated. I stayed in the silver one, and I was amazed discovering that in the room there was also all what is needed to have a tea or a coffee. The owners, Lauren and Khalid are just more than simple kind people. They were able to let me feel at home all the time. Every single need I had was prompty satisfied and there is absolutely nothing I can say went in the wrong way. The breakfast is actually lime the one you can have in a Hotel, with a high chiice of dishes. I went all the time for a "simple" continental breakfast with cereals, yougurt, toasts, fresh fruits etc. Aternatively Khalid will prepare you an excellent full english breakfast. Nothing miss from that kitchen! I styed there for three weeks and after a stressful day, every single night I felt at home returning in that house. A little suggestion: ask Lauren about the delicious cookies with the tea! I loved them! Highly suggested to everyone , you'll not regret and a truly amazing stay is guaranteed!

Room Tip: The gold room have an En-suite bathroom whilst the silver one got just the door next to the room. No...

Our intention was to stay in the centre of Oxford for a theatre visit, fortunately all hotels were fully booked so we found this gem. We cannot find fault with anything. A warm welcome, clean, comfortable and a peaceful, quiet, good nights sleep. With park and ride 5 minutes drive away it was a very stress free break. We shall definitely be staying again.

We generally prefer the more 'anonymous' stay at large hotels where you can come and go without disturbing anyone so wasn't sure what not expect when we booked a two room guest house at the last minute. We had a party at Blenheim Palace and every single hotel in Woodstock was booked.

We weren't disappointed - just a short drive from Woodstock, the rooms are lovely and the owners Lauren and Khalid charming. Khalid even took us to Blenheim Palace on the evening and refused to accept any money for the journey.

The rooms are very clean and well decorated, well sound proofed and the bathroom is a treat. We didn't take breakfast unfortunately as we needed to head back early.

If we are ever in the area again, we will certainly revisit.

Room Tip: Go for gold room for en suite bathroom, the silver room's bathroom is a separate but private bat...

We both enjoyed our short (two night) stay at this characterful and comfortable Guest House whilst visiting the MGB 5th Birthday Party at Blenheim Palace.
Kahlid proved himself to be an accomplished Host looking after our every need and serving wonderful Breakfasts.
We wouldn.'t hesitate to recommend this accomodation or to visit again.

Room Tip: We vhad the red and gold room and it was excellent
