I was recently at the Refuge Golf Course Club House for a wedding. The club house is nice and appealing, with wood beams and trusses running throughout. The room stretches into a lazy dog-leg shape with large windows looking out the most of the length. At the end there is a tall rock fireplace on a hardwood floor that served as the dance floor. The wait staff was nice and professional and could efficiently convert the room from ceremony to dinner to dance.
My only one complaint, and it is a HUGE gripe, is that there is a pane of supposedly two-way mirror above the men’s urinals that looks out into the club house that IS SEE THROUGH!! There is a slight mirror effect when looking into the men’s restroom but you can still tell whom is doing there business there. Nobody wants to see your spouse or relative relieving themselves while grabbing a desert. I would definitely suggest changing this if the Refuge Golf Course is planning on hosting more events out there.
This fact alone is why I would give it a 2-star rating.
