“Unique mini golf”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

Fun and artistic. this is part scuplture garden part mini golf and part petting zoo. It gets hot in the summer as there isn't much shade so wear a hat. I think it may be cash only so be prepared. it's not well marked so get good directions before you go.

“Sculpture Garden and Mini Putt??? - (I thought the same thing)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2012

I didn't get it when I heard the concept of this being talked about prior to construction. I didn't know that the Sculpture was being created by artist Bruce Stillman - This is no "laughing clown course" the beauty of the sculpture gives both young and old a new appreciation for art and activity. A must see.

“Not Your Average Putt Putt”

Fun and interesting for adults and kids. Great course with super sculptures. Wish they had more of a food and beverage service. Horses, goats and pigs walking around

“Great Mix”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2011

Great experience! A mixture of several different elements: challenging mini golf, unique course design with a sculpture theme, several additional sculptures to view in an adjacent field, live farm animals, and lots of laughter. Two cautions: the entrance is easy to miss (the stone marker indicating the entrance is on a brush-covered hill several yards from County Road 110), and some of the sculptures are of nude or partially nude women.

“Best Mini Golf Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2011

Bruce Stillman is a kinetic sculpture artist, and he has built the most amazing mini golf course I have ever experienced. I have been to all the major theme parks, and love unique destinations.

No other mini golf course could even begin to compete with this place (not even if Disney tried to build one). It's so unique, as no mini golf course could afford to have this art and granite. Most of the holes are integrated into nature (willow trees, giant sunflowers, etc). Each hole is very unique and a blast. This is a great place for kids and adults/couples alike. Plus, if you wanted to make a nice day out of the trip, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is only a hop skip and a jump away. It was an hour drive for me to get to Big Stone Mini Golf, and it was well worth it. Can't wait to visit again!
