“Great Deli”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

Nice Deli and restaurant hidden in the neighborhod. Everyone here knows about it and you can not buy better pasttrami & corn beef anywhere! Great for take-out as well!

“Best at Crossroads’ Deli is the Hot Corned Beef”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

I orderd the Hot Corned Beef sandwich on freshly baked caraway rye bread. Their menu boasts that the corned beef is shipped in from the east coast. I is s-o-o-o tender it melts in your mouth! My mouth just starts drooling again when I think about this excellent sandwich! I liked the bread so much that I bought a loaf on the way out in their deli section!

“Great Delicatessen and Sales Area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2012

The Crossroads Delicatessen was recommended to us by a merchant not far away from it. We decided to try it for lunch. The food was excellent, and there is a wide variety of Jewish, American, and other dishes available. Servings are generous to say the least. The first visit we made, I tried "Scott's Famous Matzo Ball Soup" and a half a sandwich. The second time, I tried the "Flanken in a Pot." The latter in half size is huge! Can't imagine what the full size is like. This turned out to be a rich stew of flank steak slowly cooked in beef broth with lots of vegetables. Yum! I also had a cup of "Dr. Stu's Cabbage Borscht"-a fabulous beet/cabbage soup. I loved the soup. The food is not cheap, but it's worth the money. My husband had the "BLTC," a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich on a croissant and was very happy with that. A full line of Dr. Brown's sodas, IBC root beer and cream soda, Coca-Cola products, tea, milk, hot chocolate, herb teas, reg. and decaf coffee, and Henry Weinhard's Gourmet Sodas are available. One can get Bridgeman's Ice Cream in a myriad of flavors, malts and shakes there too. The menu consists of appetizers, woups, burgers, salads, sandwiches, dinner favorites, desserts, fountain items, egg dishes, including omelets, and the beverages.

Crossroads Delicatessen has catering, take-out, and a great shop. At the latter, one can buy meats, bakery items (all baked by the Deli), Alma's jams and preserved (home-made and named for the owner's grandmother, Alma). Ice cream is for sale in single serving cups, cones, and containers of different sizes. Hours of operation: Mon-Thurs. full menu, 9 AM-9 PM; Fri 9 AM- 10 PM; Sat. Breakfast menu 7 AM-11 PM, full menu 11 AM-10 PM; Sun. runch 9 AM-2 PM; full menu 1 PM-9 PM; bakery and deli counter Mon-Fri. 9 AM-9 PM. I met with the owner, and it was obvious he takes great care and pride in the food he is making and selling here. It pleased me that he wanted to know what my likes were and from where I had come. He seems to take a real interest in his customers without being intrusive.

“No better deli”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2012

Fantastic bread. Everything in the take out department is great. Chicken matzo ball soup is wonderful, as is the borscht. Get some sour cream to go, for the borscht. The restaurant is perfect. Veteran staff that does everything right. The roast beef sandwich that is sliced in the dining room and served with cream-free cole slaw is ... so fine. Bottled cola is available. The place is always crowded, of course. Good parking.

“OMG the Ruben is to die for!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2012

Stopped to get to go sandwiches for the 6 hour trip home. Ordered two Rubens, one on marble rye, one on pumpernickel. They were killer. We love Ruben's and get them whenever we are near a real "Deli." We don't have anything close to real where we live.

These were fabulous. Corned beef tasty, overloaded, a half pound or so per sandwich. Not too salty. Perfect. Delivered in a nice box with napkins, utensils, and a side per sandwich. The potato salad was great, as was the coleslaw.

Too bad they don't make their own bagels!! Their bread was great. They weren't cheap, but the quality made them worth it.
