We were in the area to visit a restaurant and to also chech out accomodation for an upcoming Wedding reception nearby. 1 minute down the road to THE LAURELS where the venue is located. Lovely people, spotless and great value ! My wife was impressed! The other reviews are correct.

Room Tip: We had the Garden room downstairs. I would book it again if available.

We booked for 1 night and extended our stay to 2 nights as we found Lyndon Lodge B&B so relaxing, we were not ready to leave after 1 night! The house is located on the Montville Maleny Road between the two small towns so it's easy to locate and a good base to explore the local attractions. The house is set high on a slope so the main road is below and very quiet at night and not that busy in the day either.
Brigitte and Peter made us feel so welcome to their lovely B&B and were very interesting to chat to, friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the garden room on the ground floor which was very homely and cosy with a small kitchen area with cups and plates and cutlery to prepare simple meals (no cooking facilities).
The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was great with a very good shower.
We really enjoyed sitting on the spacious veranda looking over the beautiful front garden and countryside towards the coast-very relaxing.

We prepared our own breakfast and ate at the little table and chairs outside our room. We decided to go to the coast at Caloundra and asked Brigitte where we could hire boogie boards and she very kindly lent us two of hers. We drove approx 30mins to Kings beach in Caloundra which is a great beach for surfing.

We also recommend visiting the nearby towns of Mapleton, Montville and Maleny, the Mary Cairncross Reserve for bush walks and the best view of the Glasshouse Mountains from the entrance.
We had a lovely evening meal in a Thai restaurant in Maleny a short drive away which Brigitte recommended.
We would definately stay at Lyndon Lodge if we are ever fortunate enough to visit this beautiful part of Australia again. Very good value for money.

Peter and Brigitte made us feel so welcome! The view from the breakfast verandah is unbeatable! All city stress and hustle simply disappear in this clean, gorgeous friendly B&B. The garden is exciting to explore as there are so many different fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants to discover. The birds never disappoint. Being in winter, we expected to have to rug up but the rooms are heated and were perfect. There are so many places to explore from here that days are easily filled. It is definitely with regret that we left after two nights. I recommend this B&B who like value for money!

we stayed here for 2 weeks. Brigitte and Peter are very nice and helpful! the room are very clean. they changed the towels as often as you like. same with the lines. I can really recommend to stay here. they helped us with everything. for example picking up at the train station in Landsborough or driving to maleny for grocery shopping.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

We stayed at Lyndon Lodge last year, travelling with my parents who are pensioners. My mum is an avid gardener and the primary purpose of our trip was to tour a series of open gardens. All we needed in the way of accommodation was something neat, clean and affordable and Lyndon Lodge proved to be all three.

Truly, I don’t have much to say about the accommodation. The property is located on the busy road that connects Maleny and Montville but do not fear because it quietens right down at night. The attractive house is cut into the side of a slope with lovely gardens and sweeping views from the front verandah. Our rooms were on the lower level and therefore they were a little bit dark but not oppressively so. The decoration of the rooms is ‘motel standard’ and slightly dated but they were well fitted out, immaculately presented (the flower on the pillow was sweet!) and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. The water pressure was good. We both slept well.

As with so many B&B’s this place is ‘made’ by the personality of its proprietors. Brigitte and Peter are lovely. We found them to be incredibly helpful and friendly and they obviously enjoy what they’re doing. We talked about the garden and Brigitte even gave me some seed from one of her prolific chilli plants.

Breakfast is not included in the room rate and we ate in town so I can’t comment on that, but given the TLC that is so obviously lavished on the property (and its guests) I have no reason to doubt that it would be good.

I’d highly recommend Lyndon Lodge as a fairly no-frills but excellent value base from which to explore this beautiful region.
