This is a great luxury hotel in downtown Minneapolis. The restaurant is solid and the rooms are very nice. Proximity to the freeways is excellent. Spa looks good, but it is difficult to get a same day appointment.

The hotel seems nice when checking in. The staff was pleasant. The rooms were ok. However, there were some unrepaired holes in the wall. The bathroom was very nice. We thought that we have stayed in way nicer rooms for the price. We didn't use any other services. We were to get free internet, but discovered we got charged a couple of days later. I hear the spa was awesome, but didnt have time to use it. This is just an over priced hotel. We won't be back.

we had a "staycation" here and it was truly wonderful. the service at the Ivy is really excellent. the staff were always quick to answer our questions and help out however they could. the room was huge and gorgeous. our favourite aspect was the excellent bathroom with huge tub. room service was quick and the food was surprisingly really good. the only complaint i might have is that the pool in the spa was barely open the entire time we were there. but, otherwise fantastic! i heard it just got bought out by a larger company...? hope it doesn't change too much.

I stayed at the Ivy for a quick one night trip. The room was exactly what I was expecting - luxurious with little perks to make me feel at home (iPhone docking station, Keurig, robe, and slippers). The location is in a good spot downtown, but the staff was not as I expected for the hotel. The valet staff was nice and friendly, but the desk staff was rude and abrupt and the cleaning staff left hairs uncleared in the bathroom. Overall, it was a good stay and I would return.
