“A sensory experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Double Tree Hilton on Park Place in Minneapolis, Minnesota was a wonderful experience in sight, sound, taste and rest. The warm cookie, atmosphere and hospitality were refreshing and relaxing. The hotel location is accessible to fine dining and shopping. Parking area was clost to hotel entrance and well lit.

The only good thing about a Hilton would be the towels. There was no continental breakfast. Not even coffee unless you wanted to pay for it. The beds were super small, rooms tiny, and housekeeping didn't clean our room until 3:00 there was no wifi in the rooms! Unbelievable! On top of that the staff was super unfriendly. Will never stay at a Hilton again.

Thank you for your review of your recent experience at our hotel. We’re very sorry that you encountered an unacceptable level of service. We do our best to make sure all of our guests have a rewarding stay. We’ve addressed these issues with our staff and hope that next time you’re in the area, you’ll visit us again and experience a higher level of customer service. WiFi will be available in all guest rooms on June 1. Thank you again for your comments.

We recently stayed at rhe Doubletree for two nights. We did book a suite room and had a nice location. Dinner at the Dover was very good. The room was very clean, well maintained and the beds/pillows are very comfortable. I do love this hotel. We have stayed here many times and it is our first choice in the metro. We have returned after a previous poor experience and are happy with the experience. Wifi is coming on June 1st, that is wonderful. I suppose that the rooms/hallways are a bit outdated but that does not matter to me. Customer service is important and it was super. Thanks!

Stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton and it was a very comfortable stay. The food at the Dover Restaurant was good, the hotel staff was very nice and made you feel very comfortable. I stayed at this hotel for work and it was nice. The rooms are a bit dated, the air conditioning did not work too well ( there was snow flurries) but I still wanted some cool air. Luckly, the windows did open a bit so you could let some fresh air in The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The proximity to restaurants was great as there was center across the street that offered lots of good restaurants, which was a pleasant surprise. If I needed to stay in that area again I would stay there again. I think for the price it was a good value.

Very nice hotel, excellent front desk service, very small pool. It looks like a great place for an event, conference, wedding reception, etc. The cost was average/high and there are no refridgerators in the standard double queen room.

Great Pool, hot tub, fitness center and the beds are very comfy. Its a great place to have a business meeting, conference or just stay for the night. Great restaurants within walking distance including a bar with dancing.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Surprisingly good food in the Dover restaurant. Electrical outlets, fixtures, carpets, AC/Heat, etc. all show a fair amount of wear. With a number of newer hotels in the same location I'll try to book in elsewhere, however, the Doubletree is a nice second alternative. The proximity to restaurants in the area and to businesses in the area make it an acceptable choice.
