We recently stayed at rhe Doubletree for two nights. We did book a suite room and had a nice location. Dinner at the Dover was very good. The room was very clean, well maintained and the beds/pillows are very comfortable. I do love this hotel. We have stayed here many times and it is our first choice in the metro. We have returned after a previous poor experience and are happy with the experience. Wifi is coming on June 1st, that is wonderful. I suppose that the rooms/hallways are a bit outdated but that does not matter to me. Customer service is important and it was super. Thanks!

Stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton and it was a very comfortable stay. The food at the Dover Restaurant was good, the hotel staff was very nice and made you feel very comfortable. I stayed at this hotel for work and it was nice. The rooms are a bit dated, the air conditioning did not work too well ( there was snow flurries) but I still wanted some cool air. Luckly, the windows did open a bit so you could let some fresh air in The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The proximity to restaurants was great as there was center across the street that offered lots of good restaurants, which was a pleasant surprise. If I needed to stay in that area again I would stay there again. I think for the price it was a good value.

Very nice hotel, excellent front desk service, very small pool. It looks like a great place for an event, conference, wedding reception, etc. The cost was average/high and there are no refridgerators in the standard double queen room.

Great Pool, hot tub, fitness center and the beds are very comfy. Its a great place to have a business meeting, conference or just stay for the night. Great restaurants within walking distance including a bar with dancing.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Surprisingly good food in the Dover restaurant. Electrical outlets, fixtures, carpets, AC/Heat, etc. all show a fair amount of wear. With a number of newer hotels in the same location I'll try to book in elsewhere, however, the Doubletree is a nice second alternative. The proximity to restaurants in the area and to businesses in the area make it an acceptable choice.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. Everything went really well. I was far enough from the elevators to be quiet. It's walking distance to West End, where there are some interesting restaurant choices (separate reviews). The front desk staff offered several recommendations, and a coupon for a free appetizer with entree at Crave. The bed was comfy and they threw in high-speed Internet in the room via a promotion code in the room key folder. There's the usual coffee in the room too, and the obligatory flat-screen TV with cable channels.
Add the chocolate chip cookie, and what's not to like? Well, I thought the room rate was a bit steep, even on corporate discount. The restaurant was average at best. The breakfast was expensive and somewhat uninspiring, though they will cook an omelette to order if you get the buffet. Personally, I would walk across the street to Panera Bread for a better deal.

Room Tip: Nothing really unique, just the usual not close to the elevators or ice machine.

Hotel was clean, most staff was helpful and professional. Accomodations were a bit expensive for the qualtiy (ie: no fridge, micro, etc in base rooms). Most frustrating was staying at a "Convention Center" that does not have wireless in the rooms.

We appreciate your feedback of our internet service at our hotel. We understand that it can be an inconvenience and are currently installing wireless internet in all of our guest rooms with a 50 MB speed. We will have this active by June 1. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope you’ll consider staying with us again when your travels bring you back to the area.
