Millennium located downtown Mpls. You can walk to excellent restrauants ie Buca, where Italian eating is family style and great!!! You will need reservations. The Hotel is quiet and clean. We used Priceline to purchase and would go here again. You can take the bus and transfer to light rail and go to the Mall of America and across the street to Ikea and not have to fight traffic or parking. My grandchildren thought light rail was a treat and only $1.75 for a 6 hr pass. We did not eat at Millenium so I can not comment. We did use the onsite pool, sauna , and exercise room and that was clean and excellent. Pool is heated so nice for young children. The employees at the desk spent alot of time with us explaining routes, and places to go...the housekeeping staff very helpful. There is only a small draw back that parking is $13 dollars a day but most big cities charge more downtown. You can walk down the Nicollette Mall which is outside the hotel and feel safe....and reach excellent shopping....Already recommended this hotel...

The Millennium Hotel was OK. I was expecting worse after some of the reviews I had read. The room was small and even thought it had been redecorated, the fact that this was an older hotel could not be disguised. The bathroom lighting was the worst I have ever encountered in a hotel. The OK part was a nice sofa with a blanket and pillows. It was a comfortable place to watch TV and the blanket was a nice touch. The restaurant had a decent breakfast buffet with very reasonable pricing for a hotel restaurant. The service was also excellent. I would stay here again but, it would have to be at a lower price because of the overall quality of the hotel.
