“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

This hotel is right smack dab in the middle of Downtown Minneapolis. It's with in walking distance to pretty much everything. It's also skyway connected so you can get around inside if it's winter.

The rooms are very nice. Our room was quite a bit more spacious than others that I've been in in DT Mpls. The beds were super comfy. It was very clean - had nice shampoos, conditioners, etc. The room even had a full size hair dryer.

We couldn't find any information about an indoor pool...which was a little bit of a let down for the price of the place. Did not try the food this stay but have been to the hotel for work conferences and the food and drinks have been above average for banquet type meals.

Room Tip: City view rooms can't be beat! Gorgeous at night time.

I was very impressed with this hotel -- from the minute I checked in. The person at the reception desk was incredibly friendly and professional. The room was clean, spacious, and we had a great view of the city. There were basketball tournaments in town with tons of people & you would never have known it during the night. It was quiet...everyone was friendly... could not have asked for a better weekend experience. We also found the self parking very convenient!

A very pleasant stay and we will definitely return.

We have stayed here every year for my Husbands company party. It is a very nice hotel. This year the room we stayed in wasn't as nice as the ones in the past. The shower/tub didn't look very clean, The outlet in the bathroom did not work even when I tried the reset button. The iron had something on it and when I ironed our clothes it left spots on them and the ironing board didn't want to stay standing. Still a nice hotel and we will be back next year. Oh one more thing the breakfast buffet is amazing! And our server Ellyn great Lady!! That was the best part of our stay!

Room Tip: We had a corner room once that turned out to be HUGE! I can't remember the room number.

Great hotel. Close to many restaurants, venues, plays, arena. Food at the bar is very good, and the staff was friendly. Allow you to pull up your car for 5 minutes out front when you check in, which is rare in the big cities these days.

My friends and I stayed here this past Saturday night. The hotel is a great choice if you are looking for an "inexpensive" place with a great downtown location.

The rooms and beds are really nice. Like I said, location to many bars, restaurants, Target Field and Target Center. Plus with the connecting skyway, it makes for easy winter walking :)

The staff and concierage are great and friendly. The hotel even let us check in early. The negatives would be that there is no swimming pool and no free breakfast and the hotel setup seems like a bit of a maze and can be confusing at times. But all in all, if I just needed a place to stay downtown, tough to beat the price of the hotel compared to others in the area.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

My husband and I stayed here on February 23, 2013, what a delightful hotel! The colors are bright and cheery, the bed was very comfortable, as was the room. Staff were helpful and accomodating. We were on the 26th floor and the view of downtown Mpls was amazing. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, there was an excellent selection of food (wait to eat until after 10:30 am if you want a bloody Mary though!). Overall, we were very pleased with our weekend get-away. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor to enjoy the view of downtown Mpls.

Recently we stayed at this property and the service and staff are excellent. The location is dynamite- right in the center of things. We had a corporate event. The food was perfect. Our steaks were prepared perfectly to order, so tender we could cut them with a butter knife and impeccably seasoned. We stayed in a Bi-level suite, fabulous view over MPLS. I would have gave 5 stars, but the property has no pool, no hotub and no whirlpools in the rooms.
