“Nice Stay, Wonderful City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

I stayed at the Minneapolis Hyatt during the first week in August, 2014, for a conference. The hotel was nice, room very clean and comfortable, but most of all, QUIET! I did not hear hardly any noise from the outside or adjacent rooms, such as doors slamming or toilets flushing LOL!

Most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on in years. Hotel staff very friendly, who took care of an issue I had with my credit card/bank almost immediately.

The hotel is located on the Nicollet Mall, which is an amazing location for food and a vibrant downtown. Minneapolis is a great city, well planned and laid out.

Easy access to/from airport via the free transit bus that runs up and down Nicollet Mall. take it to the 5th street station, hop on the metro to airport, easy as pie! The hotel is near plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

I normally don't write reviews, as I only travel about 1-2 times each year. This was my first time to Minneapolis, and I must say the Hyatt made the trip even better. The Hyatt is a great hotel, perfect location and I would definitely stay again.

Absolutely love this hotel. In the last year we have stayed there 4 times. Any time we are headed to Minneapolis we always stay here. Great amenities, staff, and location is AWESOME. Just blocks away from the skywalk, Target Center, Target field, and the best restaurants Minneapolis has to offer.

Room Tip: If you pick the right weekend you can get a great deal!!!

High end hotel with amazing service. Personalized touch and service for each guest. Room are large and the bedding is very plush. Huge lobby area and many places to work if the desire to be out of your room is there. Great buy for such a nice property!

I recently stayed at the Hyatt for the TIES MN educational conference. The hotel has a beautiful lobby with a fireplace and a nice gathering area to sit and socialize. The room I had was large with a sofa, nice view of Minneapolis, and roomy bathroom. The room had a digital thermostat so you could set the temperature to what you wanted. There was also a safe that was big enough for my laptop. The check in staff and other staff I encounterd were very pleasant and efficient. There is free wifi which does work fine but only worked once in awhile during the conference--I'm sure due to so many people logging on. There is a restaurant onsite and a less expensive deli type food center where you can get a reasonable breakfast or lunch. I would give the hotel 5 stars but there were a couple of issues: first the room was very dark even with all lights on--it's like they were using 40 watt bulbs or something. Also, the bed coverings had an odor like they handn't been washed or not washed properly (smelled like sweat). That was a little off-putting. Other than that I had a great stay and I'm sure I will be back next year for the same conference.

Thank you for taking the time to review. We appreciate the feedback. Disappointed about the linen smell. We will certainly check on that. Had not heard that before. We look forward to your return next year for the TIES conference. Please do email me at mark.becker@hyatt.com if I can assist with reservations.

My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights during a vacation/ convention. The service was friendly, prompt and efficient. The hotel, lobby, ballrooms, etc. were all well-appointed and clean, clean, clean. The location to shopping, dining, sight-seeing, and the rail system was fabulous. Unfortunately, the FREE wifi did not work most of the time in our room. The hotel was booked solid, so I we presume that too many on it just bogged it down. We travel with our own hot spot, as we are accustomed to such issues with hotel wifi. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Just a few blocks from the heart of Minneapolis, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a conference. The hotel lobby and guest rooms are beautiful and spacious, with over sized rooms and bathrooms. The front desk staff were excellent, and FREE wifi-an nice added bonus when other premium hotels insist on charging.

Room Tip: The city view offers an amazing view out the window. Pick an upper floor-the elevators are quick, e...

We recently stayed for one night at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at the Hyatt Regency. The hotel is very well appointed and our room provided us with a great location in downtown MInneapolis. The room was clean and updated with a top quality bed and furnishing. Our favorite part was the oversized bathroom that featured a dressing table and mirror along with top-class room fixtures and soaps. Location at the end of the Nicollet Mall was very close to the new German Christmas Village and Brit's Pub, and a short walk from Macy's and the Target Center. This is a place we would stay at again. Hotel also offers a very nice health club that includes an indoor basketball court, full weight training equipment and indoor pool.
