I stayed one night for business. The hotel was clean, in good condition, and met expectations for a Holiday Inn. Check-in was efficient and the staff polite and professional. The lobby is kind of modern looking; very metro. I enjoyed the bar. Overall very good service. The room was fine; nothing special, but very adequate.

I recently traveled to Minneapolis on business. I stayed at this hotel. It's a middle of the road hotel, I give it a solid 3 rating. Breakfast buffet is decent but does not vary day to day. I had and appetizer in the bar along with an adult beverage - not great but not bad. This hotel will not overwhelm you but it is quiet and clean - the price is decent. It is not really within walking distance to downtown so plan to cab it.

This Holiday Inn is much nicer than your typical Holiday Inn. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The rooms are good sized. The lobby and lobby bar were nice. On site self parking was nice and reasonably priced.

We stayed here for a UM football game weekend. The hotel shuttle took us to the game. I recommend walking back from the game. Distance is only a little more than a mile, but the taxi back from the stadium was $14 due to traffic issues (and perhaps the cabbie taking some liberties with visitors).

Highly recommend eating at the Home Town Brew Pub next door to the hotel. Excellent food and craft brews.

Agree with the comments about the neighborhood around the hotel being slightly sketchy if you go in the wrong direction (away from campus).

I have worked with the Holiday Inn Metrodome, in Minneapolis, over the past 5 years. They have been really great to work with and always responsive to our company's needs. We have held business meetings there, and our employee's usually stay there when coming to our corporate office.

Sales Manager Gary Bowman has been fantastic to work with as well as Ross Nustad in accounting. They make sure that everyone's needs are met. Our new contact there, Stacy Nesbitt promises to be just as attentive. Our executive employees really prefer the comfort and quality of this hotel when they visit Minneapolis.

The hotel staff make it so convenient to use the light rail system from the airport to downtown. The hotel will pick up and drop off our guests at the Metrodome light rail station so it allows us to save a lot of money as opposed to taking taxi's for $40 one way. The light rail costs just $2.50! And they will give us complimentary service to our office because we are within 5 miles of the hotel. Even though the hotel is not in the immediate downtown area, they will help you to get there.

If you have need for a corporate event, I would highly recommend this hotel. I have not actually stayed at the hotel myself but have heard many positive comments from our visiting employees.
