At our arrival, the receptionnist was enjoyed to receive us. She did our check in very quick and explained us how the skyline works. She also gave us the name of a fabulous restaurant ( Hell's Kitchen) where they we're serving 3$ beers and fantastic burgers.

About the room, it was very big and clean. We had a fantastic night!!

Will come back for sure!

My girlfriend, myself and a friend stayed in one of their suites recently on a trip for her birthday and was mostly a very "average" stay.

We didn't check in till close to midnight on a Friday, and the staff that checked us in were not personable. They weren't exactly not friendly, just didn't smile or greet us in the way I've been greeted before from Hyatt locations. Upon checking into the room, it did appear to be clean. However, the view was poor (mostly construction, no view of any of the skyscrapers which is the main reason I stay in downtown hotels) and the outside of the window was very dirty.

A few other gripes with our room was the hot water at first was not working with our shower at first, however we did get it sorted out fairly quickly. Also, since we were located on the side next to the hospital, it was very loud throughout the night. You could constantly hear a helicopter landing on a nearby building just a few blocks away from our room with constant ambulance sirens. Finally, being platinum status with Hyatt- I was charged for a higher floor level which is suppose to be a "perk" that comes along with their platinum status.

For the price that I paid for our stay, I would suggest going elsewhere.

Pros:
Clean room
Convenient hotel location

Cons:
Bad view from room
Windows were very dirty
Noisy
Various issues with room
Mediocre staff

We loved this hotel. While there were a few minor issues with the temperature and free breakfast, we would definitely stay again and again. The rooms are beautiful and the inclusion of the "cozy corner" with sofa bed makes it the idea place for families.

The staff here are amazing. They are so helpful and considerate, even offering to go well beyond what they have to, without hesitation. We had 3 rooms, one for our 90th birthday celebrant. A card and cupcake was delivered to our room to give to the birthday lady.

We asked to have our room changed the 2nd day we were here, and it was done immediately. The shuttle to the airport and to Mall of America is free.

Breakfast was ample, and the dining area was kept clean.
We were completely satisfied.

once we found the place, I am somewhat familiar with downtown Minneapolis, but I thought when I reserved this room, that I was reserving for another motel---great hidden secret--this will be an excellent motel for Vikings games-- a great stay--quiet, friendly staff, great rooms---close to eating joints down town---great view---good buffet breakfast

Room Tip: great view from the new stadium side

Nicely appointed hotel with front service staff. Room was clean and roomy. The gripes: Dirty outside windows disrupted nice views of the city, slowest elevators of all time (anyone ever been to the old Imperial Palace in Las Vegas?) and a suicide exit from the underground parking garage.

Stayed one night for an evening on the town in Minneapolis. Walked to everything. Great facilities, they upgraded us to a suite, exceptional experience and service. Hotel is newer, so very well appointed. Parking is attached.
