The hotel is a older but it is very clean, The room are spacious with a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed. My only complaint was the sleeper couch, really could use a new mattress.

Breakfast, included in your room rate was the best I have every had. Omelette station was wonderful, made to order with all types of meats, cheese and veggies. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage, cereals, fruits, yogurt and the yummy cinnamon buns.

Location is perfect, few blocks to the Metrodome and about 1/2 mile to Target Center. The hotel is attached to the Skywalk for easy access to the light rail Transit and all of downtown. The rail system is very easy, took it from the airport to downtown and the next day downtown to the Mall of America. It cost around $2 pp per ride.

The staff was very helpful with directions and advice on some great restaurants.

This was our first visit to Minneapolis but it won't be our last. Thanks for a great 3 night stay!

The staff and the location of this hotel are excellent. But this hotel is long overdue for renovation. The bed, the TV, and the carpet are all in serious need of replacement. The breakfast in the morning is above average however. it's my opinion that the only reason people say here is because the rate is cheaper than other downtown hotels. if you could stay somewhere else for a similar price, I would do it.

I stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel has a very dated and tacky decor, but the rooms are spacious, clean and reasonably comfortable.

The main pluses of this hotel were the staff who were very friendly and helpful, free and fast internet service in all rooms, a free breakfast and a reasonably good value price.

The downsides to this hotel were the very slow lifts, the TVs that were very old and had very poor reception and the nasty decor.

Overall though i had a good stay.

My boyfriend and I got a room here late on a saturday night, around 3 am after finding out the Best Werstern Normandy Inn was full. We got a decent rate (under a hundred dollars). Check in was speedy but the front desk person was hardly friendly.I was slightly annoyed that we were not informed what time breakfast ran from, what time check out was at, or directed towards our room. I currently work at the front desk of a hotel and this is standard infomartion we tell everyone when checking in. The room decor was outdated and the lighting was poor. The worst part of the room was the tv. Small, ancient tv that got around four fuzzy channels. What...? the location is great and the price is decent, but you're also sacrificing a lot.
