“Reasonable prices but bad environment”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

They offer food with reasonable prices, but the service is slow and the waiting line is long. The restaurant is small and the tables are close to each other, so you always share the conversation with next tables.

“A Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

If you enjoy eating at a French bakery surrounded by flowers and tweeting birds in a warm comfortable environment (even though it's really only 10 degrees outside!), check out this place. It's a top-notch french cafe located inside the greenhouse at Bachman's nursery. You may be having lunch in the Twin Cities in Winter, but with a little imagination it feels like Paris in late Spring. Along with pastries and coffee, they serve a few nice sandwiches and salads. My wife and I love this wonderful little place.

“DESSERT ONLY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Patrick's has fabulous desserts. The hardest part is choosing which to try. First time visitors should pick a few and share. We always bring out of town guests here for dessert or pick up several options and take them home.

Trilogy Cake (3 types of chocolate mousse), Strawberry Napoleon, authentic Chocolate Eclair and Sarah Cake (dark chocolate with pistachio filling) are some of the best. If you want a custardy indulgence try the Pretzel Danish which is pretzel shaped danish bread with LOTS of sweet custard. Some danishes and croissants are buy 2 get 1 free.

I rate the desserts 5 stars. But the regular food is mediocre. Burgers are overcooked and dry, fries are usually greasy and thin and the lamb sausage (which they call a burger and is links) was really dry. And the salad they serve with some items is poor. They should really omit that and maybe add some fresh fruit. Perhaps their main salads are better but I have not tried them.

“Almond Croissants”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

Excellent croissants to go with a cup of coffee and a friend! This bistro type atmosphere is popular for family and friends. Besides the excellent choice of upscale pastries, a pleasant assortment of sandwiches, egg dishes and salads invite one to sit down and enjoy. There is seating indoors or out that is cozy enough.
