“Meat Heaven, awesome salad bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

We were a little reluctant, because we usually like somewhat small restaurants, so more intimacy, but what we found was even in a large place like Fogo, there are a few "quiet" little places to be seated. First of all, can't say enough about the service. You WILL feel like you are the only ones that matter, as you will have the undivided attention of everyone...unless you don't want it, then they will let you alone...it's up to you with the turn of a little card on your table. We like our meat very rare, and had to request it, and within minutes, someone came with a perfectly cooked presentation of what we wanted. We've never witnessed such efficiency in a restaurant before, and it is consistent, as we've been there a few times. The salad bar, which you try to not eat too much of so you can pig out on meat, is just too good not too! There are various wonderful cheeses, smoked salmon, meats, and some "different" veggies and lettuces than the "normal" salad bar. This is where we discovered peppadews, and now have them at home, and stuff them with blue cheese as an appetizer. We suggest going for lunch after skipping breakfast, as it a little more inexpensive, and you get the same wonderful food and service as in the evening, plus you won't need to eat dinner! GO you won't be sorry.(or hungry)

“Gauchos Galore and More!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

If you're a meat lover, this is the place to go--everything from sausages (my sons say it's the best ever) to lamb to bacon wrapped filet mignon, all brought to your table by Gauchos carrying huge skewers of the offerings, done to perfection. Try them all (about 16, or thereabout) or pick your favorite and have as much as you like. There is a fantastic salad bar, as well, with hot and cold items, but save room for the meat extravaganza and the sides, served family style, which are sauteed plantains, polenta, cheesy mashed potatoes, and cheese stuffed mini rolls.
Try their signature Brazilian caipirinha--a beverage made with lime & Brazilian rum. OMG!!!
And if all that doesn't fill you up, they have fantastic desserts, FREE to the birthday person.
The service? Impeccable!! We have never been treated so well, and the manager tries to stop by every table to greet the guests.
We've been there for lunch and dinner; the food and service is the same, only the price differs.
The only drawback--not open for lunch on Saturday.

“Must go when you are very hungry!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

This is my first time at this location but have also visited in Chicago and DC. The delicious food and fantastic customer service keeps me going back. This visit did not disappoint. The staff all work as a team to ensure you have the best meal and experience ever! The meat selection and flavoring is phenomenal. The meats melt in your mouth and the buffet selection is equally pleasing. The only disappointment you will experience is when your belly is too full!

“Every meat eaters dream!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

Dined here during restaurant week so we could afford it! It lives up to its reputation for mountains of food, mostly meat! DELICOUS meat! I don't usually like buffets, but thought this one was nicely presented with some great selections of smoked salmon, large slices of great Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. The meat selections served at your table are of a wide variety, from steaks to ribs (which were delicious and I don't even LIKE ribs) to lamb to chicken. The desserts are also very generous and the chocolate mousse cake was fantastic!
It was a bit annoying to wait 30 minutes for a table, even though we had a reservation, but it was very, very busy. Though hurried, the wait staff was generally excellent. We will save up our pennies and our appetites to dine here again!

“An avalanche of meat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Every now and then we get a craving for meat. The beauty of this place is each meat they serve is a little different in taste and they usually appease every taste.
The only draw back is the buffet style atmosphere but they make it work and we'll be going back.
