I opted for the King bed because it's always nice to stretch out when you're a tall person like I am! The room was very cosey and because I opted for the King bed the room was significantly smaller than my associates standard room. When I consider the nightly rate and the compact room size that's where the Westin is getting knocked down to just average in the room category vs very good.
I don't really understand the Westin's "heavenly shower concept" as it doesn't really rock my world but the bed is HEAVENLY! Slept amazingly well for the 2 nights I was there which is a bit atypical as usually the first night is a bit rocky! The room was very clean and it was a quiet location.
Loved the main floor of the hotel which use to be a bank with the amazing detailed high ceilings and old world charm! They were very clever by keeping the old bank vault and displaying their wine collection in it!
Would definitely stay here again!
