I have heard very good things about this restaurant and wanted to try it for quite awhile. Sometimes when you have such high expectations about something, it is hard for it to live up to the hype. Definitely not the case here.
We went here for my husband's birthday. We ordered mussels for appetizers - they were absolutely delicious! The rest of the meal was excellent as well. My husband had halibut, my son had the blue ribbon chicken and I had pork osso buco. All were excellent with the halibut being a stand out. My daughter ordered a romaine salad, cauliflower and broccolini (no she's not vegetarian but none of the entrees appealed to her). Again, very tasty.
We did have to ask the waitress to explain some of the entries since we didn't understand some of the terms. She was very knowledgeable and patiently explained to us what was in each dish.
My husband's entree was delayed and we were told we wouldn't be charged for it. Very nice. That seemed like a good excuse to order dessert so we tried the butterscotch budino, banana cream eclair and tres leche cake.
