“Watch the Holidazzle Parade Here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

This must be the best place to watch the Holidazzle parade in downtown Minneapolis. The food is just OK, even for an Irish pub, but the the atmosphere is fun, the beer selection is good. Get up to the third floor early, order dinner and beer, and sit by the windows for a great view of the parade while you stay toasty warm.

“great pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

We've been going to Brit's once a year around Christmas, and really enjoy it. I'm a big fish an chips fan, and they do it right. Good batter, nice flaky fish. The batter recipe is much improved in recent years, so if you haven't been in a while, try it again. The beer list is good if you like English ales. I've visited several times in the summer, and lawn bowling is VERY fun. Service is fair to good.

“Spiffy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

I am British, so I am therefore automatically qualified to review this restaurant!

Okay, I kid. But I am British, and lived in England for 26 years, so have a pretty good grasp of what British people eat, and no it isn't nasty crap; British people in this day and age don't have bad teeth and do take their food seriously.

This restaurant does a good job of creating a pub like persona. They also have some outstanding imported candy from the UK. If you've never had a Cadbury's Flake or Crunchie, you really should treat yourself. You can even order it to go as a low priced desert item, to enjoy on the way home!

The food is very good, well prepared, no gripes. I have enjoyed the scotched eggs (essentially a hard boiled egg surrounded by sausage meat and breaded), curry chips (fries that taste excellent with the vinegar dipped in a spicy sauce), and one of my favorites from home a Cornish Pasty (basically a pie with meat and some root vegetables such as swede, carrot and potatoes, covered in brown gravy).

So if you want to try a little British pub food this would certainly be a good place to start. Good service, consistent food, and a nice split level format. Stay calm and carry on.

“Great beer, food and footy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

Always come here when working in MN. Love the food, good beers (Fullers on tap etc) and they're kind enough to play the football (soccer) and replay it for those at work! Only thing i'd say is bring back the sausage rolls.. they were fantastic!

“Birthday Celebration”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

The rooftop is amazing, although a bit windey when we were there. We ended up moving inside. Other times when I was there and there was no wind, the roof fulfilled is promise of relaxing food and drinks in a great atmosphere. You forget you are downtown Minneapolis.
