MBBQ may, as some noted, need a bit of a makeover, but that is part of its charm. It has been around a long time and there are things that will remind you of it.
I eat there whenever I am hosting a group of out of towners who want bbq. They are good at managing groups, but I eat there on my own or as a couple as well.
The food is consistently good. They have good cole slaw and most of the meat is pretty good, if not quite memorable. The ribs, however, are consistently excellent. They use a dry rub and serve sauce in squeeze bottles at the table. God did not intend for ribs to be cooked in sauce, and MBBQ serves them as God intended.
