We went as a group of six at 1 pm on Labor Day. The no frills room was packed with tables and people in line. We waited about 15 minutes for our table; it took a few minutes for the waiter to get our order, but we weren't in too much of a hurry. They have very good fresh spring rolls, which we shared as appetizers, that come with a variety of fillings and accompanied by a thick peanut sauce.
The waiter came a few minutes after we had orderred and told us they were out of bread for the Banh Mi sandwiches, so the two of us who had ordered sandwiches ordered Pho instead. The Pho is excellent--and there are a lot fo varieties from which too choose. All pho dishes are accompanied by the traditional plate of basil, bean sprouts, lime wedges and very thiny sliced fresh jalapenos. There are also trays of condiments--Sri racha, fish sauce, hoisin sauce, and others to customize your broth to your liking. The broth is excellent plain, but fun to, ahem, soup up to your liking.
The platters were also excellent--offering well cooked rice and tasty stri fried dishes as well.
The crowd was very diverse--maybe half Asian, but everyone was eating there and why not? With food like that at very reasonable prices, there are few who won't like it.
