We visited Restaurant Alma for our anniversary. We decided on the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Every bite was perfect. It is not an inexpensive meal, but very worth the splurge for a special occasion. We have wanted to go back and just order an entree of the menu. Which is a more inexpensive option. The service was outstanding.

Restaurant Alma has a wonderful, interesting menu. Excellent food with a good variety, great service, good atmosphere. The food is good for those who want to try something new, but still has something to offer for those who are less adventurous. Loved it!

Food here is exquisite, just what you'd expect from one of the most acclaimed places in the Twin Cities. Pick one from Column A (starter), one from Column B (middle), and one from Column C (entree) - there are sufficient options in each that you just can't go wrong. But my favorite was actually from the implied "Column D" (dessert), a sticky toffee tart with chocolate espresso sauce and coconut sorbet - wow. Four-and-a-half stars: slightly slow (only slightly) and slightly less (only slightly) attentive service was the only downside to giving this 5 stars. But it's clear why this is one of the top 5 restaurants in the Cities.
