“Surprisingly Good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Stopped here for appetizers and dessert on a Saturday evening. The waitress was great. She was knowledgeable about the tap beers and brought us samples. The food came out quickly and was wonderful. We especially loved the sushi tuna on crackers and deconstructed bananas pie. Both the dinner and dessert menu offered enticing options. If we are in this area again, I welcome back.

“Not worth it!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

First and last visit. Menu was limited and way overpriced. Seemed like it was trying to be something it was not. Way too "uppy".

“Disappointing overall”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Our first visit to this place will be our last. The menu is small and strange, offering a candied bacon appetizer, naan bread, Persian wings, Croque Monsieur, spaghetti Bolognese, and other hodge-podge cuisines. Four of us had the Woodfire burger for lack of a more appealing choice; three came without sauce, one bun was untoasted and another burned. The forkful of "side salad" was served on the same plate as the burger, so the plate was cold and the salad underdressed. That said, the burgers were well-cooked and flavorful.

Service was chaotic. It took 45 minutes from our order to our food and the lone appetizer ordered (if you can call two strips of bacon on a plate an appetizer) was forgotten. One person took our order and three others brought it to the table, unsure of who got what. Water is pretentiously poured from a corked bottle. For dessert, the menu boasts a Creme brûlée torched tableside: three were served already brûléed in the kitchen and the fourth was dramatically pressed with a hot flatiron at the table, and burned. Our server could not remember three orders of coffee and tried to serve it to all five of us.

The manager did apologize for the lack of BBQ sauce and bought dessert for the table. Alas, the dessert service just cemented my opinion that I will not return.

“Everything was very good.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Appetizers and entrees all good! Candied bacon appetizer had a hypnotic aroma! Brussel-sprout salad side-dish surprisingly good. Nice, broad list of wines by the glass (but the whites were served too cold), and great single-malt-scotch list.

“Bacon for an appetizer!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

You really can't go wrong when you have grilled bacon for an appetizer. The menu had a lot of selections and the service was great!
