The Foshay used to be the tallest building in the Minneapolis skyline. Now it is dwarfed by the other buildings, but still worth a look around.

“Great stay at the W.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

Gorgeous views of the city. Good cocktails. Art deco feel. Great and affordable hotel. The company was very satisfied with the W experience and the visits to the top of the tower made the trip all the more notable.

“Great Views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

Went to Foshay Tower not knowing anything about the history but wanted the views. When you go up there is a small museum with some videos. It was really interesting to learn all of the history of the tower while we were up there. We only spent about 20 minutes in the museum and then just checked out the 360 degree views of the city. Even if you don't care to spend any time in the museum it is still worth it to come up and see the views.

“History with a view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Want to see all of the Twin Cities and it's suburbs? Take the elevator up to the top of the Foshay Tower and behold! The interior of the building is very cool and the little (tiny, really) museum is packed with photos. I don't remember the cost to go up to the viewing deck, but it was worth it. We ate lunch at Key's Cafe across the street. Good as always!

“Beautiful view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

I loved visiting the Foshay tower. It was a beautiful view of Minneapolis and was reasonably priced. The staff were very polite and helpful. There is also a small museum showing the development of the tower and Foshay artifacts. If you want a good view of city, love heights and are interested in learning about the tower - this is the place for you!
