This was my fourth time visiting Marvel Bar.

They only have about 3-4 beers on tap and maybe only a handful of others in bottle or can. You won't find Budweiser here. They don't really do food--you can get some Cheetos, but that's about it. But, it's not what they lack, it's what they have that brings people in. Simply put, they have some of the best mixed drinks in town.

There is bar seating and some lounge style seating--the place fills up quickly, so go early if you want a seat. Don't expect to show up and have a seat waiting for you. It's a popular place, even though most people don't know how to find it. (There aren't any signs outside pointing the way to the entrance.) They have attentive servers and great bartenders.

Just remember, again, you don't go here to order a Budweiser. They'll probably hand you a Hamm's instead. If you go, try one of the cocktails. The Oliveto is an interesting and tasty one partially made with egg whites, served in an egg-shaped glass. I also enjoyed the various scotch-inspired drinks. Plenty to choose from! Mixed drinks run around 10-12 each--fairly comparable to other high-end mixologist style places like Bradstreet (another favorite) or others.

We stumbled on this after a great meal at The Bachelor Farmer. Amazing drinks done by professionals with a real attention to detail. Even the ice is shaped for the drinks. Pricey cocktails, but worth it!

I really love the hand crafted drinks at Marvel Bar. It's a great spot to sit and chill with friends. While the drinks are pretty spendy, they are well worth the price and the wait to get them!

Excellent drinks and atmosphere. This is a must hit when visiting The Bachelor Farmer upstairs and a fun and hip place to take people who may be visiting from out of town. Despite how busy it was I was very impressed with the service-attentive and friendly!
