My husband and I spent a couple hours touring the mansion and exhibits while our daughter took one of ASI's kid art classes. She really enjoyed the class and we enjoyed the ASI. The mansion was fun to see, the tile stoves are beautiful!! The exhibit on the Sami people was well done. The birchbark plaque exhibit was a bit of good humor. We didn't eat it the cafe given a lack of vegetarian options, but it looked like a nice experience.
