“Great Italian Fusion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

So popular! It is one of the new trendy restaurants in the North End of Minneapolis. It attracts a young, hip foodie crowd and there is good reason. The food is excellent as are the drinks and the atmosphere. It is open late and feels like a party all the time.

“Busy, noisy, worth the wait”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The menu is interesting with some unique offerings. Our wait was over an hour so make a reservation. And it's REALLY loud.

“Perfect service, great food, too loud”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013 via mobile

I have to say that I think the high volume atmosphere was intentional and that many people (in their twenties?) would probably like it. That feature was not to our particular liking. if you want dinner conversation, I would not go there with a party greater than 4 unless you have the private room. Our party of 4 (ages 40s and 60s) had a great time. Our server was impeccably knowledgable of both the wine and food menus. All food assistants were extremely attentive and efficient. My mother-in-law went to the restroom, accidentally dropping her napkin on the floor as she left, the wait staff noticed and replaced a newly folded clean napkin for her before she returned. They also replaced our burnt out votive candle during our dessert, I've never had that done before. The food - you could order half size or full size plates. The half size plates were great fun as you could sample and share a variety of dishes. The pasta was split into 3 sections on the menu: dry pasta is imported from Italy, fresh pasta and filled pasta are made fresh on the premises. We sampled a variety of small plates, including the grilled sausage which is 3 varieties all made on site, which were quite nice, but I must mention the Bucatini with Bolognese (a dry pasta dish) because it tasted just like the spaghetti that we had our favorite restaurant in Rome (Di Rienzo in Piazza Della Rotunda - the square at the Pantheon), it was exceptional. Not all the food was worthy of 5 stars by taste, but it was all worthy by presentation, proper temperature, and creativity. The desserts were not too exciting. With the rhubarb tart we couldn't taste the rhubarb through the pastry. The dark chocolate pot was too sweet. The salted caramel crepe was the best dessert we ordered. The espresso was served in cups too large and was slightly grainy. Overall it was a fun experience in the hip warehouse district, worthy of a visit.

“I CANT HEAR YOU”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Wow on the food. We did a number of small plates, shared them, and shared our experiences of
them. Everything was well prepared, delicious, and a combination of interesting flavors! We loved it all. But, THE NOISE WAS DEAFENING. WE SCREAMED AT EACH OTHER FOR THE ENTIRE MEAL.....all of which really hurt the experience! Is it too much to ask for a little sound deadening wall hangings??? Not sure I'll ever go back for this reason alone...or unless I go alone.

“Always A Great Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

OK, I won't say this is the best restaurant I've ever been to but I can say every time we go there, the food is so darn-gone tasty, it's incredible! It is always so creative, so delicious and do something different, sit at the pasta bar and watch people cook. That's a treat in itself. Our most recent visit was last night and we ordered a couple of appetizers and two small size servings of entrees and every one of them was rich in taste and delightfully presented. And you know what else is great about the place? The staff is always friendly in a sincere, genuine way which says to me, management treats their people with respect. And a special THANK YOU to Dolly, our server last night at the pasta bar who was bright, cheerful and so much fun to be served by her!
