This hotel needs to make changes asap. There are some things that are tough to change like the elevators and small pool but they could clean the stairwells, clean the microwave, resupply room amenities, reduce room service, reduce in room movie charge, and reduce the chlorine in the pool. So many issues and the prices are steep.

The hotel staff was helpful and the location of the hotel to downtown and the light rail system could not be beat. However, if you are not a Hilton Honors member, you will be charged $13.95-$16.95 per night to use the Wifi.

The valets they have working at this Hilton are rude, obnoxious and you can't understand a word they say. I will not stay here again because of this. Change the valet service and I may consider coming back!!

I stayed here recently while in MSP for work, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I'm an HHonors members, so typically stay at Hampton and Hilton Garden Inns, but found a great rate for a two-night stay in early March, that was not too much higher.

The room was clean, well-appointed and large enough to stretch out - I bring my travel foam roller with me and could use it easily in this room. Their fitness center is outstanding, with a full range of cardio equipment, free weights, stability and medicine balls, and some cable equipment too. The adjoining pool had a large jacuzzi and even a chair lift for disabled swimmers. Worth the price of admission for us runners during the winter months - it was 6 below one morning so treadmill option was an obvious choice!

Staff was friendly and helpful, which I always expect from Hilton employees. Great job gang!

Beautiful lobby, great location, reasonable value for the money plus a fantastic view. Pet peeves: windows that don't open, sinks too high for anyone under six feet to use comfortably. Semi-pricey restaurant (and only one), and an annoying lack of signs to the Skywalk. (Which by the way is called the International Something once you get to the restaurant area.) Be aware that although everyone, from Hilton Honors people to bell captain, will tell you there's a Subway there - there is not. In its place is Dave's, much better food. Also a Caribou Coffee!!
One very annoying aspect is the charge for Wi-Fi. Ridiculous, in this day and age. If you're an Honors member and complain, you can get it for free - if you don't complain, they will charge. I was told their system was being upgraded, and that was the cause.
One other annoyance. Feathers. Pillows and comforters. My wife is highly allergic, and I cannot understand why all the Hiltons have gone to all feather rooms. Harder to keep clean, hell on allergies - it makes no sense. However, the head housekeeper was immediately on it to get everything changed over.
Be aware that if you call for something like early room make-up, the person answering in housekeeping may not relay the request to the housekeeper. This happened to us twice. But a small matter, easily rectified.
Yes, the lack of a complimentary shuttle is annoying. Perhaps the feathers cost too much, and Hilton can no longer afford one.
All in all, if you can get a decent deal on pricing, this is a good stay and I would recommend it without hesitation.

This hotel has been renovated within the past few years so the rooms and public spaces are in good shape, but there is really nothing special about the hotel. I definitely would not recommend anyone pay any extra money to have access to the Executive Level because the food is very, very basic and the service is almost non existent. I stayed at the hotel during a slow time and even then the staff seemed to be on automatic pilot--maybe they are just tired of the cold, wintry weather. Larry

Very nice hotel centrally located and recently remodeled. Even better then the hotel is the staff. We were carrying in some birthday presents for my daughter and the front desk and the bellhop both offered excellent recommendations for places to go eat and celebrate. On top of that they sent at least $50 worth of drinks and food with a very nice birthday card for my daughter!! Really great experience. Highly recommend if in the area.
