“Lunch is great. Dinner menu better!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Went to eat there for lunch over a year ago and it was fantastic. Great value and quick. Went back there for dinner with some friends and overwhelmingly great. I had the biggest baked potato ever. Rivaled big city steak houses in quality (and of course price!). I had a great surf and turf entre. Highly recommend the wedge salad (mandatory for any great steak joint!). Will definitely head back!

“Perfection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

Six of us went to Pittsburgh Blue to celebrate a birthday. We all ordered the tenderloin and it was without a doubt the best I have ever had. What I liked was you had so many choices how to have it. I ordered it with bernaisse sauce-WOW- just fantastic. Every one ordered it a different way so we tasted eah other's. We had the mashed potatoes served family style and they too were out of this world. We ordered red velvet cake for dessert not because we were still hungry but so we could try it. The desserts served three people easily.

The service was so attentive-the kind where your water glass is constantly kept full but you are not aware the server is there. The server answered our questions ( including how the restaurant received its name), made suggestions, checked on us regularly, but allowed us time to enjoy our meal and our time together.

We were there on a Saturday evening when the place was packed. Tables are close together but it was not a problem. We did not feel rushed even though many people were waiting for a table.

I look forward to going again. There is not one thing that I did not think was just perfect.

“A Must for Foodies”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

I was a first-timer last night at PB. I joined two friends for a birthday celebration and the restaurant did not disappoint, from the well-attended bar, to the perfectly attentive service. We started with a sampler appetizer platter, including buffalo shrimp, crab cakes and fried calamari. All were tender and perfectly seasoned. We then dove into perhaps the freshest blue point oysters I've ever had. The next round of indulgence included chicken and shrimp lettuce wraps. The hoisin sauce was just right. We finished with tenderloin carpaccio that melted in our mouths. If you haven't been there, it has to go to the top of your list.

“Scallops Benedict? Really?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

We were in town for a meeting. At first, the organizer was going to take us to a Kobe Steakhouse but it was too far from our hotel. I used the app yelp to assist in the matter. The first restaurant to come up was this one so we decided to check it out. Great choice.

We were greeted by Amy, a very nice hostess. We sat outside in the patio area which was nicely designed. Dale was our server and had an extensive knowledge of the menu. He treated us very well.

I would definitely go back to this establishment.

“Relaxed Casual Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

We had an overnight stay in the area and were looking for a restaurant with a casual atmosphere and a decent wine list. It was mid-week, and we did not make a reservation. Our table was one of many located quite close to each other which we didn't mind. Several TV's were on in the bar area, tuned to various sport channels. The crowd was mostly baby-boomers, few young people. I simply had wine and an appetizer. My husband enjoyed a steak, but the best part was the bread which is brought prior to the meal. Our waitress was almost too helpful but didn't hover. We would recommend this restaurant for a relaxing, casual meal.
