“Greek paradise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

From the very start guest services was on point from offering refreshing towels at check in to upgrading us to a suite. Our room had a breathtaking view and extended balcony with private hot tub. Although the location is a bit far from Mykonos town the hotel provides a free shuttle bus that runs until midnight. The breakfast buffet had a large variety to appease everyone's appetites, the waiters were very attentive offering juices and different coffee/tea options. The grounds were magnificent especially the pool area. The private beach was beautiful but be prepared for some exercise to get to.

I would definitely return.

Spent a week with the amazing people at the resort and it was all amazing. The food, the pool, the spa, the view, the staff and the DJ (DJ - GK Apsis - great). I say come and stay as long as you can. We made many trips into the city to shop and dine. Do not miss "Pasta Fresca Barkia" the Panama Hat Store, and Komnhnoe Bakery. Also be sure to see a sunset from the city - Enjoy

Mykonos was the first stop of my trip. The Royal Myconian was absolutely amazing! From our breath-taking views from our room, to the amazing service, everything was 5 out of 5. Our room had its own private jacuzzi overlooking the ocean, and the most beautiful flower bushes filled with monarch butterflies. Breakfast was really amazing, it had everything you could want from sweets to lots of fruits (and this is rare in Greece) eggs, meats etc. Really high quality produce and a great selection. The property is very well kept, and is really beautiful to walk around. But i think what makes this place so special is the people who work here. The moment we walked in we were made to feel like royalty, nothing we needed was too much to ask for. Natalia, Efi, and Costas were all amazing, especially Costas who in truth really made our trip to Mykonos the most memorable. Costas would take the time every day to give us phenomenal suggestions on where to go each day, the best places to eat etc. Never rushing, always taking time to make sure everything was at 100% Thank you Costas for all your kindness and making our trip so amazing, we can't wait to come back to our Royal Myconian Family!

Room Tip: Get the villas on top with the jacuzzi, the views are phenomenal. Ask for Costas he will make you f...

This is a big, beautiful hotel with a superb friendly staff. They give a warm, friendly reception and are so caring and concerned that, despite the impressive size of the hotel, one feels one is in a family run establishment. The rooms and balcony have everything one needs, and everything is planned for ones comfort. I am 88 and whenever I needed it, there was always help at hand, and always with a smile. I highly recommend this exceptional hotel.

Room Tip: I had a room near the lift, quiet and with a stunning view.

My stay at the Royal Myconian was a tremendous delight. From the moment of arrival to my departure the hospitality and friendliness of the staff was beyond description. The staff’ ability to mix a European efficiency with a Mediterranean Greek Warmth of temperament was unrivaled in hotels I had stayed in other countries: a family feeling with a staff that gave very good travel tips and was very attentive to any special request and quirks that many of us travelers can have in a foreign land on holiday: the location (high up), the view (the sea), the comfort (large beds that are neither soft or too hard) the swimming pool (sea water) and the Breakfast selection were a delight. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor have a great view but also strong gusts of wind; some rooms above the dining...

We stayed in Royal Myconian . The view from the room was stunnig. As a nature the beach was stannung too. We had a very comfortable transfer from airport to Hotel...Also daily transfers were very good.Very good location, very nice beach.....Variety of the breakfast was very good....But I had a difficulty to have hot tea during my stay...It was a big missing thing having no toilet and shower by the beach....The condition of the changing room which is in the beach was also very poor ......I missed having my tea at 5 pm because there were only cold drink service by the beach bar...Also the condition of the beach bar was very poor.never feel comfortable to order an ıce cream !!!!The staff was so friendly but they realy need some training specially about service quality....They have lack of information flow between the departments...

Room Tip: To be on the safe sıde keep all your requirements and their answer as written . Double selling is a...

Royal Myconian and Myconian Imperial are at the same place, share the same lobby, and by the photos the rooms appears to be very similar, not sure whats the difference.
They offer transfer from and to port/airport, and must say it was the best I ever had, a very modern mini bus.
The hotel is very big, and that means a lot of stairs and elevators. Just to get to my room I needed to use one elevator, walk, get another elevator and walk some more. And all that to get to a not so cheap "Deluxe Double Sea View with outdoor Jacuzzi". Definitely should be closer to the lobby.
They have umbrellas and sunbeds at the beach, its ok going down but not very comfortable the way back, a lot of stairs (see the pictures).
The room was nice, big balcony and a very beautiful view. The bathroom looks old, shower on top of a tub what makes it slippery.
The staff is very friendly, they have bus transfers all the time to/from town, very nice pool, and excellent breakfast with champagne!

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the looby, the one I got was very, very far.
