“Off season”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2015 NEW

This beach is fantastic off season when there is only sand and no sunbeds and umbrellas yet.
The official nude and gay section is on the right side. Its thrinking for every year...dont be surprised too share the beach with fully dressed tourists.

“Pristine and relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2015

There's nothing quite like a nice calm, relaxing beach - and Elia is it. With it's beach chairs and umbrellas; you'll be able to relax at this beach all day. It helps that you can order food and drink from the near-by bar. I felt super relaxed, and thought I had found the beach for me. The only beach that bettered Elia, I felt, was Paranga. But I would still not pass up Elia!

“Good...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2015

Awesome beach. Very calm and not too busy. Only negative was the women asking if i wanted a massage. No thanks. I've already been to the spa. I just want to lye here and not be felt up by a stranger on a beach.

“Elia...a beach to be experienced to be believed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2015

We traveled to this picturesque beach by public transport mid morning and proceeded on a leisurely 5 minute stroll to the right of the main beach area as you are facing the water and hired up a spot serviced by very attentive staff on the waters edge. The water was crystal clear, the sand was golden and the expected crowds were nowhere to be seen. We had a great day, enjoyed some wonderful seafood and wine served to our lounges and were pleasantly surprised by the price for our day out. Negotiate a rate for your lounges and umbrellas. The attendants want you to stay with them so will drop the price if you ask them. The scenery was interesting and as far as people watching is concerned, we are still talking about one individual who proceeded to display his flexibility and gymnastic ability near our spot. There were lots of people handing out free passes to the rave that was scheduled for later in the evening. The buses arrived at the scheduled time and returned us to Mykonos Town.

Its a bit on the expensive side but good views and plenty of places to lay down. Cannot complain about the drinks.
