“A wonderful weekend at the Coffee Street Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

This was our (my hubby and I) third stay at the Coffee Street Inn. It's a great location where we can park the car and either walk or bike everywhere. It's within a block or 2 of the Root River trail and within a couple of blocks to restaurants and the theater.
The Inn provides all of the comforts we need, including refrigerator, microwave, free internet and coffee. It's clean and we enjoy sitting outside on the patio to read our books.
Staff and owners are wonderful!

Nicely kept rooms, very clean. Great location, just a couple blocks from the downtown center. Management was great to do business with, very hospitable and amenable. As mentioned elsewhere it's not fancy but if you're looking for a comfy tidy place to rest during your Lanesboro stay this place is definitely worth a try.

This place isn't fancy but it is clean and had all we needed for a very nice stay. Our room had a very spacious bathroom which is nice when you are traveling and trying to get ready at the same time. My wife commented on how much she like the thick towels compared to alot of the thin hotel towels. It is about 2 blocks from mainstreet so you can walk to everything. It is about a block from the bike trail so very convenient for riding.

Stayed one night before busy tourist season. Staff was nice and hospitable. Slept well in a room on 2nd floor. A few blocks from the main street shops. Many of the stores were not open due to the early Spring. Full kitchen but did not use it. Didn't really checkout the grounds much but noticed an outdoor patio and grill. Had a good breakfast at the "Chat n Chew" ~1 mile from the Inn. Rode bikes on the Root River trail. All in all, a good stay in Lanesboro.

I visit Lanesboro often and stay at The Coffee Street Inn when ever possible. They are very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for a nice clean room, with comfortable beds that is in walking distance to down town, you can not go wrong with The Coffee Street Inn!

We stayed before the onslaught of tourists so we were the only people in the hotel.
Lady at front desk was great, accommodating and nice. She even gave us baked treats in the morning.
Street the Inn is on is very busy and noisy.
Rooms are big and relatively comfortable.
We were on the second floor in the back so out dog was very happy with the large desk.
I would highly recommend if possible to get a second floor room - we ate on the deck and the view was great.
Private off street parking in the back is a huge bonus.
The greatest bike trail was across the street and downtown is two blocks away.
There are not many pet friendly hotels there (one more I think but they were closed), so we didn't have a choice, but we liked our stay!

Room Tip: second floor in the back with deck access

Stayed here with three other couples for three nights and as many days of biking the nearby trails. The Inn is conveniently located to the paths and to quaint Lanesboro's downtown, with restaurants and shops. The three other couples shared the three bedroom suite, we a queen room. The rooms are average, and, as at least one other reviewer noted, noisy. We kept the in-wall fan on low throughout the night to mitigate the noise from nearby rooms. A continental breakfast is served in the small reception area only on Saturday and Sunday mornings, summer season - coffee, sweet rolls, juice. If one needs a hot breakfast, try the Pedal Pushers Cafe. We all ate dinner there; it was excellent. There are outdoor bike racks, but no secure area; bring locks for your bikes. Pets are permitted and guests with allergies should be mindful of that; we experienced no 'pet' problems.
