“Good burgers but overrated”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

You'd think this place was heaven on earth the way people talk about it. It is what it is: A good neighborhood burger joint. They aren't cheap. We've been probably 25 times in the last 10 years. Atmosphere is fair, its like a big basement. Service is friendly if not rushed.

“Best Burgers in Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

I have been going to the Lion's Tap my whole life. The place has gone unchanged the entire time. it is so refreshing to see a business that does something well and not try to change things up.

The burgers are great, I like the fries a lot. All done for an affordable price. You can get a meal here for less than going to a fast food place. My only complaint is sometimes they come a bit too raw for my taste. Other than that, these are the best burgers in the Twin Cities hands down.

“Overrated Burger Joint”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

The Hamburgers were good, not great. The fries were also nothing special. They have great looking t-shirts, but since I was not too impressed I pass on them. I did like the old school Galaga game when you come in. It's a fun place to go, but I would not go back.

“Great Burger Joint”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

This is just a great burger joint. Nothing fancy, nothing over the top, just a good burger and fries at a cheap price. Always go back.

“Amazing burgers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

They have amazing burgers, they are worth every penny. I get a regular one for 3.00, they have a california one which is over priced for tomato and lettuce added. So we had ours with pickles and lots of fried onions. Heaven. Fries are fair but nothing special. Been eating here since i was a kid
