“Update to date hotel at a great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2010

Recently, I had an unplanned overnight stay at this hotel because I missed a connecting flight due to weather. The airline placed me at this hotel and it was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast bar is an added treat. Front desk staff and the shuttle driver all have the message about the important of good customer service. They were friendlly, courteous and extremely helpful. They even checked on me twice to make sure I made the shuttle back to the airport. Though it was not pleasant to be delayed in my travels, the hotel was a great oasis and made the stay immensely pleasurable.

We stayed here for one night following a cruise out of Orlando. We checked in at the beginning of the trip to park our car while we were away. We simply checked in and were advised where to leave our car. We then booked the shuttle to get to the airport. Although we did not know this, and the website doesn't state it, it is highly recommended that you book your shuttle time before leaving home. We were there early enough and flying out late enough that is wasn't a problem. But for peace of mind, book before you arrive at the hotel.

Upon arriving back in Minneapolis, we called the shuttle and they arrived within about 20 minutes. We stayed that night in the hotel. The rooms were very large (suites) with a separate living area with couch, sink and microwave, and TV. The beds were off to the other side of the room. The decor is definitely dated and a bit shabby, but it didn't really bother me at all. Breakfast was very good and included several healthy options.

There are also some good shopping areas very close by - a Walmart and Kohls about a 1 minute drive away. This was convenient for picking up last minute items before traveling.

This hotel permitted free parking for 8 nights, which is not always the case at other park and fly hotels. I would definitely stay here again for flying out of Minneapolis.

Stayed here using the Park, Sleep, Fly option. The shuttles were timely and drivers were friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and it was far enough away from the airport that we didn't hear the incoming and outgoing flights all night. The room was very clean. The television was located between the seating area (couch, chair, etc. ) and bed area, so you had to turn the TV whichever direction you were seated but that didn't bother us. The breakfast buffet was excellent-best I have had for an "included" breakfast at a Twin Cities area hotel. The biggest problem we had was that the front desk in the lobby was unattended when we arrived for check-in (a sign was posted that they would be back shortly). Waited approx 5-7 minutes before someone returned and she did apologize for the wait. One other gentleman was waiting when I walked up-not sure how long he waited. Check-out was easy. Just called front desk and left keys for door in the room. Overall this is a great value over other similarly priced Park, Sleep and Fly hotels in the Twin cities area. we will definitely stay again.

As a frequent business traveler, I have stayed in hotels across the U.S. I really did enjoy my time at the Sprinhill Suites in Eagan, MN. The staff is awesome, the rooms are spacious and clean (which is about all you can ask for.) They were also finishing up some additions such as flat panel TVs in all the rooms.

Flew out there to see my two young children. The weather was freezing so I wanted a big room with two tvs and an indoor pool to keep us occupied. The breakfast buffet is quite good. Make your own waffles. Eggs,Sausage, cereals, coffee etc- all FREE!!!!! Pool was very nice when not crowded. Biggest issue was getting housecleaning to clean our room. We had to work our schedule around them! The front desk ended up buying our delivered pizza dinner for the inconvenience which was nice. The free shuttles to the mall and airport made it a great value as well . The two tvs were outdated though with lousy reception. Furniture was old. Might stay there again some time. Only one PC in the lobby which was usually occupied. NO DISNEY CHANNEL????!!!!!

To create a "suite," this hotel moved the bathroom to the window side of the building, so you looked at the bathroom entrance while you're in bed. The TV is on a low stand between the "living room" and bedroom area so you can't see it when you're in bed or when you're at the desk, which faces a blank wall. Fitted bedsheets were too small for the mattress (a common problem in hotels) and seemed old and "pilled." HVAC was one of those under-window units that cycle all the time; I know they're cheap to install, but they're truly annoying. Internet was wired only (not wireless) in the room.

The free breakfast was surprisingly good.

We stayed for 1 night and found it to the best hotel we have been to in a long time, The room was a nice size and the price was great, we asked the front desk for directions for Chuck E. Cheese and they were dead on, the pool area was nice and good for the little girl with us!!
