The rooms are clean, but not exceptional. Have fridges, micros, and flat screen TVs. But - the king size bed had poor back support. Perhaps the queen beds are better. Breakfast was good with lots of choices, but the breakfast area is rather small. Many people had to take tray with food and go back to their room. Staff friendly. But depending on when you stay it can be more expensive than other hotels. You can get lower price at the Comfort Inn West. Its an older property, but very well maintained.

When I need to get away for a day or so this is where I head. The city of Duluth it's self is a pleasure but this hotel really makes it great. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is always kind and helpful. I love that there is a fridge and microwave in each room. The excerise area is just right for me. The breakfast is wonderful; it has a real variety of foods and they have always been well prepared. The lobby is cozy. It has books that you can borrow if you did not bring your own. There has always been tea and coffee available there even late in the evening. There is an Outback Steak House next door and behind that is a convenient gas station where snacks can be obtained. It is not far from the Miller Hill Mall. All these things make me feel welcome and well hosted. I keep coming back because they do not disappoint.

Very friendly staff. One of the main bridges connecting Duluth to Superior was closed to repairs and the desk clerk explained how we would need to detour etc. Really appreciated this. Slept great. Nice and quiet - good breakfast.

This is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly, professional, and do their jobs well. My room was in outstanding condition as the property is only a year old. Can't quite understand previous review stating room was outdated. Nice little laundry area. Cozy fireplace in lobby and breakfast wait staff really hustle. If I ever get this far north again, will stay here a second time.
