“Nice Outdoor Patio”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Beer is good! Food was o.k. and the service pretty laid back. An order did not come as expected and had to wait for one meal in the party. Outdoor patio on a perfect Duluth day is the best part.

“Beer From A Place You Won't Forget”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Stopped in on our visit to the area. They have the winning beer "Nut Hatchet Brown". A dark beer with a light taste.
You will not be disappointed the food is fabulous and the waiter we had was enjoyable and friendly .
So worth it

“A Let Down”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

We were here on a busy night and opted to eat outside so knew we would have to wait a while. I missed the text when our table was ready and noticed it 10 minutes later (my fault). I went up to the host

“Fun Microbrew and Grill”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

A fun atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating just off the Lakewalk and Lake Superior in Canal Park (next to Hampton Inn). Outstanding beer selections and plenty of typical and more unique food options - both comfort food and healthier items. For example, we tried the bison burger and the wild rice/black bean burger with sweet potato fries and broccolini sides. A fun, informal way to have dinner in a great setting.

“Surprised by ratings”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

I have worked in downtown Duluth with many lunch time walks by and told the family we needed to stop and eat next time we had the opportunity. We had our first visit there tonight and were very disappointed. We ordered 3 appetizers and beer. Apps were totally overpriced for the quality and quantity of food you would expect to pay. My husbands dark beer he ordered had a hint of bleach taste and was warm. The only good thing we had out of our $60.00 bill was the pear cider which might have been 8oz max at 7 bucks. They have a beautiful view of the lake, service was ok but being a local I guess I would definitely not go back and try an actual meal.
