“You just gotta go here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

The price is five bucks per adult but get another few bucks in quarters to feed the animals. If you have kids, they will love the animals! The clerk in the shop was very friendly and the prices were actually much cheaper than most attractions in the area..and way better than buying at canal park

“Finally stopped here!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

We've been going up the shore many times a year for 20+ years, but we didn't stop here until this past fall. We loved it! We took our time walking through the camp, checking out the animals and reading about the history. After buying some stuff in the gift shop, we decided to eat here, too. The sandwich and soup I had were amazing! Everyone was really nice that helped us. The only reason I don't give 5/5 is because the cost of the camp seemed a bit steep.

“great food, fun giftshop...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

Stopped here on the way up to Split Rock Lighthouse. The trading post is full of knick-knacks to purchase- all very unique, some pricey. ex. real moccasins, candle rocks, home made soap (which smell wonderful), and tons of toys. You can easily spend $100. They also have a restaurant that was delicious. Home made soup and sandwiches. You can eat inside or outside at picnic tables. We didn't go to the actual logging camp as we just stopped by for food and a break from driving. Will definitely stop next time and tour the entire place.
