Just returned from a trip to Duluth and had the pleasure of my 5 mile run on the the Lakewalk this morning. Very brisk but absolutely beautiful. Even in winter, the entire trail is well maintained. If you enjoy your run outdoors and dress for the elements it is spectacular.
Easy to access from downtown or Canal Park.
Great exercise! Fun even in the winter, just dress for the elements. Take a jaunt off the lakeside walkway and grab a bite to eat or visit the shops.
We walked the entire Lakewalk and it follows the L Superior shoreline so can't get any better than that. Nicely maintained and good if you are a runner or biker or dog walker. Good for everyone!
you can walk and see the city lights at night or take a open carriage horse drawn ride. This is a romantic place for couples. Stop in the resturants or lounges. Stop and have ice creram at the antique ice cream store. during the day you can see Wisconsin and watch the senic boats and large ships
Wonderful paved walking and biking trail along the shore of Lake Superior. Scenic and awesome. Check out the Rosé Garden, the shops of Fitgers and skip a few rocks into Lake Superior.
