This place is pretty interesting with many things to see. Didn't know if the kids would enjoy it but as it turned out, they did. Located by the lift bridge and admittance is free.
It was fun to watch the ships come in! We timed it perfectly. We also really enjoyed looking at all the old shipwreck items and learning from the employees wealth of knowledge.
this place is amazing telling the storie of the maritime on the great lakes. and best of all it is free. Go you will not be disappointed. go in late october though when the citie has free parking in canal park.
We always enjoy visiting the maritime museum. The information and memorabilia related to the great lakes shipping industry is very interesting.
I attended a private event and enjoyed the displays as always. The displays have changed since my last visit, and it is nice to see the constant updating.
