The renovations have really improved the Enger Park area. Not sure how the new pavilion will be seen on the hillside. Maybe in time it will blend in and be fine. The trails are great. The views are remarkable.

This was another recommendation that I acted on from an old professor of mine. The views were wonderful on a clear day. I'm glad I brought my good camera up with me.

Went to Enger park today for the first time. I had to look at a map to figure out how to get there, but it doesn't take long. The park must be undergoing improvements as everything looked in pretty new condition. The tower is great (lots of stairs). Wonderful 360 degree view of the city. There was a new? shelter on the other side of the parking lot with a good view also. It looks like the park has plenty of picnic space for families and a Japanese garden with a big peace bell. Ringing it was fun. It wasn't the nicest park I've been to, but it is worth a visit for the view. I would prefer to go back with company, it seems a little isolated when you're alone.

Lots of stairs to climb, do it on a clear day when the lake looks its most gorgeous. our day was mixed with some sun but lots of fog over the lake.
