Owner description: Watch seagulls soaring while you stroll around this popular spot, part of the revived Duluth waterfront. Nearby are a sculpture garden, jazz clubs, coffee shops, motels and restaurants. If you like ships, stand on the pier and watch huge boats and ships, some from around the world, come and go daily.

“From rust to gold”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

I remember when Canal Park was filled with old, rusty warehouses. I actually loved that era, but I can see where the city and tourist industry would long for something a bit more easy on the eyes than that for visitors. It's a great area to walk around in and the shopping there is great with lots of little shops filled with local arts and clothing and almost everything you could imagine. There are a few nice hotels as well, so plan to spend a day or more here.

“Mardi Gras of the North”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

Canal Park is loaded with unique shops, good hotels, fine dining and a beautiful walk along the canal. You can stroll along and watch ships navigate the canal under the aerial lift bridge. Lots of tourist attractions like the Aquarium and the Convention Centre.

“Fun place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Fun place to go, either alone or with family. Nice shops to browse, good food, and the beautiful Lake Superior everywhwere you look. In summer very busy, nice to go late spring before the crowds or late summer. Never get tired of visiting teh Canal Park area.

“Tourist must go”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

You will enjoy the unique shops and restaurants on Canal park. There are many lakeside hotels, Music events, and other wonderful attraction. Paid parking so don't get ticketed. If you cross the lift bridge there is a natural sandy shoreline at a nearby park. Have a bonfire, dare a swim, or just ehjoy the sights.

“Lot's of fun things to do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Canal Park has really grown up since I lived in Duluth. So many wonderful things to see and do there. My particular favorite place to visit is Duluth Pack. They make some of the finest packs for hiking and camping that can be found.
